My lovely Wife and Best Friend, Chiffon "Bonnie" M. Cox. She is the oldest sibling of eight children and her parents have been married 42 years strong. Her father is my hero. I can not imagine raising 5 girls and 3 boys. They are Pacific Islanders from San Francisco, California. Her father is Romanian and her mother is from Samoa. She is currently attending courses at Virginia Peninsula Community College in the medical field for billing and coding. On top of being an awesome Wife and nurturing mother, sister, auntie, cousin, and daughter! They have a significantly huge family. If you don't know her chances are you know someone she is related to in the Hampton Roads area. We met in the hotel industry and were coworkers before anything else. She could not stand me at first and that clearly did not stop my persistence. We are celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary this fall and I am a very fortunate man to have her by my side.
Our oldest child and the only daughter, Kaiya. She just graduated Bethel High School and will be attending VCU this fall for their Pharmaceutical curriculum.
Our 14 year old son that should have been born with gills, Nairobi. He just graduated from Kilgore Gifted Center Middle School and will be a freshman this fall at Phoebus High.
Our other 14 year old son plays football, Xavier. Also known as "Peanut" and is the love child. Always cares about someone's feelings. He will be in 8th grade at Gildersleeve Middle School this fall.
The youngest of our tribe as far age but by his mind. Christopher is our gamer and thinker. He's an 11 year old that can hold logical conversations with an adult at the age of 50. Every family has that unique spark and that is truly him. He graduated Hidenwood Elementary and will be joining his brother Xavier this fall entering 6th grade at Gildersleeve Middle School.
Then there is Genesis. Named by our daughter. Our cat thinks she is human. Very protective and witty for a feline pet. A siberian cat that has no problem being vocal when she is feeling emotional. That's our Gen Gen.
